He also said something about us being "covered" even though we got a termination fee letter and our policy is inactive according to him. Again, we got the termination fee letter November. And over the phone he mention us being terminated since July. I bet that the only reason we are "covered" is because nothing happen. But had something occur, they would have claim policy inactive, and we are not their responsibility.
Stop saying "it's not our fault." Yes, the bank did not accept your payment request. Good for them! Better not just hand out my money to anyone who request it. But you, Allstate/representative of Allstate, should have notify us.
Kurt Wicks has personally helped us insure & bundle 2 new cars and Homeowners insurance while buying our house and saved us the most money of any other insurance. He matched our previous coverage with Liberty Mutual and saved me around $100 a month on just my auto insurance. I love when I call I can speak with him directly.
This is a crappy start with a new insurance. Thank the Lord nothing happen during those months out policy were inactive.
Allstate Insurance has provided services with sincerity and clear instruction which our family of four vehicles has benefited with satisfaction.
They canceled our policy without calling us. We only found out because my mom was like "what is this termination fee. We didn't terminate anything with them." He claims to have send letters and made phone calls to let us know after I asked if they attempt to contact us. We only got the terminatation fee letter. No phone call or voice mail or other letter. They terminated us since July. We got the terminatation letter November. We told them that. He, Allstate representative, said it's not their fault and "do you want to get it fix." (If you apologize first...maybe.)
The people here are great. I've worked with Chennara and Jay and they're both super-helpful. Allstate is the way to go.
So we came in anyway to get it fix and the entire time he was trying to blame the bank loan for it not accepting payment request.
Just own it, apologize and promise it won't happen again.
"Hey, call your mortgage company, let them know you're with us." Seriously. If you didn't get pay, you wouldn't just quit on the spot. You would walk to the boss office and ask what's up first.
He said he will fix it and that he will "make the policy active" again. Nothing against the representative personally. He did not apologize for the company screwing us over but did apologize for the inconvenience of having us coming and wait on the phone at the end of the meeting. I bet once they contact our mortgage they will request payments for the months that we were inactive.
I had a more thorough experience with Allstate agent TJ Gramstorff, than I have had in a very long time. He took the time to answer all of our questions, never hurried us, never seemed annoyed. He explained every step and was well versed in the nuances of what we were looking for. If we called and he was not available, he was diligent about getting back to us. His emails were thorough and he was very informative when we were confused. I have really enjoyed working with him. We are here to stay!
